Floor Models
The floor model stands at 5 feet tall, but the lamp head is on an arm that can be adjusted to 2 feet off the ground so it is flexible to treat different parts of your body. (Remember to keep the lamp at 12” to 16” away from your body to ensure effectiveness and safety.) The floor model has five wheels for easy mobility.
Desktop Models
A desktop model is 2 feet tall and 25 pounds. It is easily adjustable to target whatever area of the body is in need, and is compact, mobile and portable.
Your lamp’s head will be fine with an occasional, regular light dusting. Do not clean it with a liquid, as this will ruin the mineral coating. Do not try to take the lamp head apart to clean.
The mineral plates last 1,000 to 1,500 hours, and after that you should change the plate to ensure maximum effectiveness. This translates to 2,200 uses of 40 minutes each – five years is used daily. Additional mineral plates are available from TDP and are very simple to replace.
